Incoming Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri is reportedly keen to reunite with Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga in Italy for the 2021-22 campaign.
The Spanish shot-stopper lost his place as Chelsea's number one with the arrival of Edouard Mendy from Rennes, and a transfer away from Stamford Bridge has been mentioned as a result.
Kepa worked with Sarri during the latter's stint at Stamford Bridge in the 2018-19 season, but the two men were at odds in the EFL Cup final when the goalkeeper refused to be substituted for the penalty shootout with Manchester City.
Despite their infamous disagreement at Wembley, La Repubblica claims that Sarri is hoping to bring Kepa to Lazio on loan for the upcoming season.
The report adds that Lazio want to bring in competition for Pepe Reina and Thomas Strakosha in between the sticks, and the Serie A powerhouses would fork out 50% of Kepa's wages as part of a deal.
Kepa featured just 14 times in all competitions for Chelsea last season, playing every minute in their FA Cup run as the Blues lost in the final to Leicester City.
