Leeds United have allegedly identified Chelsea defender Reece James as a potential loan signing during the January transfer window.
Having starred for Wigan Athletic during the last campaign, James is now considered part of the first team at Stamford Bridge, with two starts being handed to the right-back in recent weeks.
After making his debut against Grimsby Town in the EFL Cup, the England Under-20 international was provided with an opportunity to make an impact in the Champions League versus Lille.
However, despite his progression at the Premier League side, Football Insider claims that Leeds are considering a loan bid for the 19-year-old at the start of 2020.
Sitting in fifth position in the Championship standings, the Yorkshire giants are in the market for new additions as they bid to secure promotion to the top flight.
The report adds that Leeds will only follow up their interest if James does not maintain a place in Chelsea's senior setup.
