Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are set to step up their interest in Chelsea's Andre Schurrle, according to reports.
Schurrle has been linked with a move away from the club in this window and his omission from their FA Cup tie with Bradford City - after boss Jose Mourinho said that he would play - has added fuel to the fire.
German side Wolfsburg were said to be leading the chase, but the Daily Star claims that both Liverpool and Spurs are also monitoring the situation.
Mourinho told reporters yesterday that he didn't want Schurrle to leave, but added that he would consider a "phenomenal" offer for the player.
The German international joined the Blues for £18m in 2013.
