Liverpool 'see Fabio Carvalho enquiry turned down'

Fulham inform Liverpool that in-demand teenager Fabio Carvalho is not for sale this month, according to a report.

Fulham have reportedly informed Liverpool that in-demand teenager Fabio Carvalho is not for sale during the January transfer window.

The 19-year-old has been in impressive form for the Cottagers during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring seven times and contributing four assists in 19 appearances in all competitions.

Carvalho's contract at Craven Cottage is due to expire this summer, and Liverpool are among a number of clubs to be credited with an interest in the attacker.

According to The Sun, Liverpool recently approached the Championship club to enquire about the teenager but were told that he was not for sale during the winter window.

The report claims that Fulham are desperate for Carvalho to aid their push for Premier League promotion and will therefore reject any offers that arrive this month.

The youngster - also linked with Chelsea, Real Madrid and West Ham United - has scored eight goals and registered four assists in 25 appearances for Fulham since breaking into the first team. body check tags ::
