Shakhtar Donetsk manager Mircea Lucescu has claimed that Chelsea counterpart Jose Mourinho let the Romanian in on his transfer plans.
The Blues boss was spotted watching the Euro 2016 qualifier between Ukraine and Spain at the Olympic Stadium in Kiev last week.
Lucescu is quoted by the Daily Star as saying: "Mourinho is interested in Yevhen Konoplyanka. I was at Ukraine vs Spain with Mourinho and he is interested in some players.
"Perhaps it is [Andriy] Yarmolenko or [Alex] Teixeira, if not, then it is Konoplyanka."
Mourinho brought seven players in during the summer transfer window.
