Manchester City will reportedly rival Chelsea for the signature of Leicester City hotshot Jamie Vardy when the transfer window reopens next month.
The title challengers will attempt to woo the Premier League's top scorer away from the King Power with a bid of around £30m, according to The Sun.
City manager Manuel Pellegrini is said to want Vardy as another backup option for Sergio Aguero, whose campaign thus far has been blighted by injuries.
The 28-year-old is also thought to be top of interim Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink's January wishlist as he looks to salvage something from the champions' disastrous season.
Vardy failed to score in back-to-back games for the first time since August on Saturday as the table-topping Foxes went down 1-0 at Liverpool.
