Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori has reportedly emerged as a potential loan target for AC Milan.
The England international has endured a frustrating first half to the campaign having been provided with just 235 minutes of football across four appearances.
Manager Frank Lampard acknowledged at the weekend that the 23-year-old could be sent out on loan in order to earn regular game time.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Milan have made contact with the Blues hierarchy to enquire about Tomori's availability.
While Strasbourg's Mohamed Simakan is said to be regarded as Milan's first choice, they are likely to move for Tomori if they cannot agree a deal with the French side.
Milan boss Stefano Pioli is keen to bolster his defence as I Rossoneri attempt to win a Serie A and Europa League double.
