Celtic have moved to the brink of sealing a loan move for Chelsea winger Charly Musonda.
Over the weekend, it was reported that Chelsea had provisionally agreed to allow the youngster to spend a period at Celtic Park, but the 21-year-old was named on the bench for the Blues' FA Cup tie with Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon.
However, the Belgian attacker was not used by head coach Antonio Conte, and it appears that was because an agreement had already been reached with the Scottish giants.
On Monday morning, Musonda arrived at Glasgow airport for his medical at Celtic, and could potentially be announced as the latest addition to Brendan Rodgers's squad later on Monday.
Last month, Musonda penned a new contract at Stamford Bridge, but Chelsea have allegedly allowed Celtic to take the player on loan for the next 18 months.
Musonda has made just two starts and four substitute outings for Chelsea during the current campaign.
