Nottingham Forest are reportedly interested in signing Barcelona winger Abde Ezzalzouli, who is currently on loan at Osasuna.
Ezzalzouli, commonly known as Ez Abde, has made just 12 appearances for Barcelona since arriving from Hercules in the summer of 2021.
Abde is currently spending the 2022-23 season with Osasuna, and he has played his part in a promising season for Jagoba Arrasate's side.
The 21-year-old has made 19 competitive appearances this term, scoring two goals and contributing two assists.
Abde also played a part in Morocco's historic run to the 2022 World Cup semi-finals, making three substitute appearances against Croatia, Spain and France.
Osasuna are keen to retain Abde's services, but with no buy option included in his loan deal, he is expected to return to Barcelona at the end of the season.
According to Relevo, Nottingham Forest are one of a number of teams who are considering whether to make a summer move for the Morocco international.
The report claims that Abde wants to remain at Camp Nou, and he will discuss his future with Barcelona in June.
However, with Barcelona able to call upon the likes of Raphinha, Ousmane Dembele and Ferran Torres, Abde could find playing time hard to come by.
Should Forest decide to pursue a potential deal in the summer, they could face competition from Chelsea, who are believed to be interested in signing the Moroccan.
With three years still to run on his current contract, Barcelona may be looking for a considerable fee if they are to part ways with Abde in the summer.
Last month, Abde scored an extra-time winner in Osasuna's Copa del Rey encounter with Sevilla to set up a semi-final tie against Athletic Bilbao.
Osasuna will have home advantage for the first leg, which takes place on Wednesday, and Abde will be hoping he can help his side reach their second Copa del Rey final. body check tags ::
