Patrick Bamford has revealed that he would "ideally" like to remain in the Premier League after ending his loan spell at Crystal Palace six months early.
The 22-year-old only played 119 minutes of Premier League football for Palace after joining on a loan deal from Chelsea in the summer.
The striker confirmed at the weekend that he was the one that ended the loan agreement after struggling for first-team football under Alan Pardew, branding his time at the club "terrible".
However, Bamford is confident that he will find another taker in the Premier League as he assesses his options for the second half of the campaign.
"I think I have got to be open to all options. Ideally I want to stay in the Prem and I think they are a few options to stay in the Prem so now it is about assessing which is best and we will go from there," Bamford told reporters.
"I think after New Year go back with Chelsea and then take it from there. It is up to me to work hard then and see what happens."
Bamford spent last season on loan at Championship side Middlesbrough, where he found the back of the net on 17 occasions.
