Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford is being courted by Queens Park Rangers with the offer of a loan deal until the end of the season, according to a report.
The 22-year-old cut short his season-long loan with Crystal Palace over Christmas after growing frustrated with his lack of playing time in the top flight.
Since returning to Chelsea, however, interim manager Guus Hiddink has made Bamford train with the Under-21s and has reportedly informed him that he has little chance of being involved for the senior side.
A number of top-flight and Championship sides have expressed an interest, including Swansea City, Middlesbrough and Wolverhampton Wanderers, although QPR are now thought to be the frontrunners as they mount a late charge for the second-tier playoff places, according to the Daily Mail.
Bamford scored 17 goals in 39 appearances and was named Championship Player of the Season while on loan at Boro last season.
