Young Chelsea defender Alex Davey has completed a loan move to League One side Peterborough United.
The 20-year-old has joined Posh on a 30-day loan deal and is available for today's season opener against Rochdale at Spotland.
"Alex is a centre-back that I have been tracking for a number of years," Peterborough boss Dave Robertson told the club's official website.
"He is one that has been on the radar for a while. I am over the moon to get a player with that quality and defensive attributes into the building to support the squad."
Davey is a Scotland Under-19 international and made 13 appearances for Scunthorpe United during a loan spell last season.
