Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly joined Liverpool and Chelsea in the race to sign Barcelona midfielder Gavi.
The 17-year-old is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in European football at the moment, having enjoyed a breakthrough season with Barcelona and also earning his first caps for Spain.
Barcelona have reportedly identified Gavi as one of their unsellable assets, but he has a €50m (£42.4m) release clause in his contract which is understood to have alerted a number of teams.
Premier League giants Liverpool and Chelsea have both been strongly linked with a move for the youngster, and El Nacional claims that PSG have now registered their interest as well.
The report suggests that the French outfit would have no trouble triggering Gavi's release clause, and that they would also be willing and able to trump any contract offer Barcelona put on the table.
Barca are understood to have put talks over a new deal for Gavi on hold until the New Year, although they remain confident that they will agree fresh terms with the midfielder.
Gavi, whose contract at Camp Nou does not expire until 2023, became the club's third-youngest scorer of all time with a goal in Barcelona's win over Elche this evening. body check tags ::
