Paris Saint-Germain's move for Chelsea attacker Hakim Ziyech is reportedly on the verge of collapsing after the Blues sent over the wrong documents.
The French champions are understood to have agreed a deal to sign the 29-year-old on loan for the remainder of the season with no option or obligation to buy.
Ziyech has been pushed further down the Chelsea attacking ranks by Noni Madueke, Mykhaylo Mudryk and Joao Felix, and he was therefore given the thumbs up to leave.
The Morocco international is believed to have completed his medical as he prepares to don the Parisien colours, but there have supposedly been some unexpected complications.
According to journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Ziyech's transfer to the Parc des Princes cannot go through due to Chelsea sending over the wrong document "several times", and also sending them late.
The attacker's move is not thought to be completely dead in the water, but PSG will lodge an appeal to the Ligue de Football Professionel (LFP) on Wednesday.
Earlier on deadline day, Ziyech is said to have personally intervened in talks between PSG and Chelsea, demanding that the West London club show more 'flexibility' in negotiations.
The ex-Ajax man only has one assist to show from 15 games in a Chelsea shirt this season, and his contract at Stamford Bridge expires in the summer of 2025. body check tags ::
