Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Rennes.
Despite impressing during the early stages of the season, Tomori has made just three appearances since the turn of the year.
While some of that period has been spent in the treatment room, the 22-year-old's lack of game time leaves some uncertainty over his future at Stamford Bridge.
According to L'Equipe, Rennes are monitoring the situation ahead of potentially launching an approach for the England Under-21 international.
Rennes have earned a place in next season's Champions League, putting them in a position where they may be able to attract high-profile players to Roazhon Park.
The report adds that it is unclear whether Les Rennais would prefer a permanent or loan deal.
