Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Juan Cuadrado, who is currently on loan at Juventus, in the January window.
The Colombian international joined Chelsea from Fiorentina in January, but he struggled to make his mark in England and was sent on a season-long loan to Juventus in the latter stages of the summer transfer window.
It is understood that Juve want to turn the loan deal into a permanent transfer, but according to AS, Atletico boss Diego Simeone is preparing to hijack the deal due to his long-term appreciation of the 27-year-old's talents.
Cuadrado, who played every minute of his country's run to the quarter-finals of the 2015 Copa America, has already made eight appearances for Juve this season.
