Chelsea have reportedly opened discussions with N'Golo Kante over extending his contract in an attempt to fight off interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
The France international still has three years left to run on the five-year deal signed when arriving at Stamford Bridge from Leicester City in a £32m transfer in 2016.
Kante has been a big success in West London, but there have been questions over his future as PSG are rumoured to be weighing up a big-money move.
According to The Mirror, Chelsea are concerned about the thought of the 27-year-old returning to his home city and are prepared to offer him an improved deal.
Kante has been ever-present for the Blues since Maurizio Sarri took charge in the summer, albeit in a slightly more advanced right-sided position.
