Chelsea are reportedly plotting a January move for Feyenoord captain Stefan de Vrij.
The 20-year-old midfielder, who replaced Ron Vlaar as the Rotterdam side's skipper at the start of the season, is out of contract in June 2014.
According to The Metro, De Vrij has snubbed two offers to extend his current deal at Feyenoord and Chelsea are ready to test the water with a £5m bid in the winter transfer window.
De Vrij has been capped twice by the Netherlands at senior international level.
