Samuel Eto'o has reportedly agreed a one-year deal with Chelsea, reuniting him with former Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho.
The Cameroon international was a major part of the Nerazzurri side that won the Serie A, Coppa Italia and Champions League treble under the Portuguese coach in 2010.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Blues have beaten off competition from Inter and will officially unveil the 32-year-old tomorrow, once he has completed a medical.
Eto'o is said to have agreed contract worth €6m (£5.1m) per year, which will make Lionel Messi the highest-paid player in world football with £13.7m.
He has scored 26 goals in 50 games since leaving the San Siro for Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala two years ago.
