Chelsea defender Ashley Cole will leave the club at the end of the season, according to The Daily Mail.
It has been reported that the 31-year-old has failed to come to an agreement with the Blues over a new contract.
Chelsea chief executive Ron Gourlay is thought to be handling the negotiations with Cole, but he has failed to convince the England international left-back to pen a new one-year deal.
Cole's current contract with the European champions runs out next summer and he will be free to sign a pre-contract with another club in January.
Midfielder Frank Lampard's contract with Chelsea too runs out at the end of the season and he has yet to be given a new deal.
