Free agent Didier Drogba reportedly has his heart set on a move to Montreal Impact this summer and is prepared to reject a move to Chicago Fire.
Chicago Fire are understood to have made the 37-year-old a contract offer and are confident that he wants to move to the MLS.
However, according to L'Equipe, Fire are facing strong competition from Impact, who are said to be Drogba's first-choice destination this summer.
A host of clubs, including Inter Milan, have also been linked with the forward, who departed Chelsea at the end of last season.
