Newcastle United have reportedly agreed terms with Chelsea on a loan move for Kenedy and are now waiting for the Brazilian winger to complete a medical.
The 21-year-old has been allowed to leave Stamford Bridge until the summer after struggling for playing time under Antonio Conte once again this term.
Kenedy, whose five appearances in 2017-18 have all come in domestic cup competitions, is said to have arrived in the North-East on Monday evening.
There had been talk of Newcastle lining up a club-record transfer for the Fluminense youth product, but the Daily Star suggests that terms have been agreed on a loan deal for now.
Kenedy, disciplined in pre-season due to offensive social media posts during Chelsea's tour of the Far East, first emerged as a target for the Magpies in July.
