Real Madrid are planning to submit a world-record bid in order to bring Eden Hazard to the Bernabeu in the summer transfer window, according to a report.
The 24-year-old was one of the key components of Chelsea's title-winning season last year, with 14 league goals for the campaign, but has yet to find the net in 19 appearances so far this term.
New Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane, who has previously described Hazard as his third-favourite player behind Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, has made the Belgian his top target and is prepared to spend big to get the deal done.
The Daily Star claims that an offer is being considered in the region of £100m, which would make Hazard the most expensive player in history ahead of Gareth Bale and Ronaldo.
Recent reports have suggested that both Ronaldo and Bale are considering leaving Madrid at the end of the season.
