Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek has reportedly completed a deadline-day loan move to London rivals Fulham.
Blues manager Frank Lampard has previously said that it would be a good idea for Loftus-Cheek to secure a short-term move away from the club in order to get more first-team action.
The England international now seems set to make that happen, with The Telegraph's Mike McGrath taking to social media to announce that Loftus-Cheek has joined Fulham on a season-long loan from Chelsea.
The midfielder has already enjoyed one temporary spell away from Stamford Bridge during the 2017-18 campaign, where he made 24 Premier League appearances for Crystal Palace, notching up two goals.
Loftus-Cheek has only turned out once for Chelsea this season, though, with his proposed short-term arrival at Fulham providing him with a prime opportunity to stake a claim for a spot in Gareth Southgate's squad for next year's European Championships.
The 24-year-old has made a total of 82 appearances for the Blues since 2014, scoring 12 goals.
