Saint-Etienne head coach Christophe Galtier has confirmed that he is keen to secure the loan services of Loic Remy from managerless Chelsea.
The striker was used sparingly under the regime of previous boss Jose Mourinho, making just one Premier League start all season.
However, Galtier has announced his desire to offer the 28-year-old a route out of West London, providing that a financial package can be agreed.
"Loic Remy has a very interesting profile. He's part of a very big club where he's not playing much," he told But Football Club.
"We'll see if Chelsea will loan him to us but they would have to take care of part of his salary. I'm not sure if it's possible, but Loic is indeed on the list."
Remy joined the Blues from Queens Park Rangers for £10.75m in August 2014.
