Chelsea forward Daniel Sturridge may miss out on a proposed transfer to Liverpool after negotiations over agents' fees have reportedly stalled.
The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with a switch to Anfield after falling out of favour at Stamford Bridge and some reports have claimed that a combined fee of £18m for Sturridge and Blackpool winger Thomas Ince has already been agreed.
Despite Chelsea's willingness to let the forward leave the club, it is understood that the Reds are not prepared to pay over the odds in agents' fees, which has thrown the transfer into doubt, according to the Daily Mail.
Signs that Sturridge is likely to be on his way out of the Blues emerged when the forward was left out of Chelsea's World Club Cup squad.
