Chelsea have announced that midfielder John Swift has joined Rotherham United on a season-long loan.
The 19-year-old joined the club's youth ranks as an Under-14 and was part of the squad that won the Premier League Under-21 title last season.
Swift made his senior debut for Jose Mourinho as a substitute in the team's win over Cardiff City on the final day of last season.
Rotherham are preparing for the Championship, having won promotion from League One through the playoffs last season.
