Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly offered AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie a contract worth €8m (£6.8m) a year to make the move to the Premier League club next summer.

The 24-year-old's current deal at San Siro is due to expire next June, and a number of clubs, including Spurs, Chelsea and Liverpool, continue to be credited with an interest in his services.

A recent report claimed that Chelsea had contacted Kessie's representatives to place a contract on the table, which would be worth significantly more than he currently earns in Milan.

According to Calciomercato, Spurs are also keen on the Ivory Coast international and have presented a contract worth €8m (£6.8m) a year in the hope of convincing him to move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Kessie enjoyed an impressive 2020-21 campaign for his Italian club, scoring 14 times and contributing six assists in 50 appearances in all competitions.

The central midfielder made his first outing of the new season against Lazio in Serie A on September 12, meanwhile, featuring for 61 minutes of his side's 2-0 home success.
