With big-money additions out of the question, Radio Esport Valencia suggests that the Spanish outfit hold an interest in Drinkwater.

The Englishman has no future at Stamford Bridge after failed loan periods at Burnley and Aston Villa last season.

While Chelsea would prefer to part ways with the 30-year-old on a permanent basis, they are prepared to listen to any proposals for the player.

Drinkwater, who cost £30m in 2017, has two years remaining on his contract.
