Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic is reportedly unenthusiastic about a potential transfer to Chelsea.
Vlahovic has spent just over a year-and-a-half in Turin, chipping in with 23 goals from his 63 appearances in all competitions.
However, the Serbia international endured a mixed 2022-23 at the same time as Juventus could only finish in seventh position in Serie A, a consequence of points deductions.
Having been banned from competing in Europe next season and needing to ensure that their financial issues are resolved, the future of Vlahovic has become a hot topic for debate.
Recently, it has been claimed that Juventus and Chelsea have been in discussions regarding a potential part-exchange deal involving Romelu Lukaku.
The Premier League giants are eager to part ways with the out-of-favour Belgium international, who would seemingly accept a transfer to Juventus despite his affinity to Inter Milan.
Reports have indicated that there have been talks regarding Vlahovic moving in the opposite direction, with Chelsea paying a substantial fee as well as selling Lukaku.
Nevertheless, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Vlahovic does not see a transfer to the West Londoners as a priority at this stage of his career.
Vlahovic is allegedly understanding of Juventus's current position with regards to finances and open minded to a transfer to a new team.
That said, the 23-year-old is said to favour a switch to Paris Saint-Germain over linking up with Chelsea, who cannot offer European football this season.
Earlier this summer, it was reported that Chelsea had rejected the opportunity to entertain a move for Vlahovic, only to now reconsider due to the opportunity to move on Lukaku.
Vlahovic is also opening to continuing his stay at Juventus having gotten on the scoresheet during the 3-1 victory over Real Madrid earlier this week.
Boss Massimiliano Allegri has acknowledged that he is powerless over the future of Vlahovic, reiterating that Juventus need to generate transfer funds before the end of August. body check tags ::
