West Bromwich Albion are reportedly keen on securing the services of Chelsea striker Demba Ba on a loan deal.
The Baggies benefited from the Blues last season when they borrowed Romelu Lukaku for the entire campaign and the Belgium international went on to score 17 Premier League goals.
West Brom manager Steve Clarke would be keen for Lukaku to return, but speculation has claimed that new Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has decided to keep hold of the 20-year-old.
Instead, Clarke will ask Mourinho if he can now take Ba, who is likely to be surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge, according to The Times.
The Senegal international joined Chelsea from Newcastle United in January.
