West Ham United are reportedly currently in discussions with Chelsea over a move for Kurt Zouma.

The 26-year-old still has two years left to run on his contract at Stamford Bridge and made 36 appearances for the Blues during the 2020-21 campaign, including 24 outings in the Premier League.

Thomas Tuchel's side are thought to be nearing a deal for Sevilla's Jules Kounde, though, which would likely push Zouma down the pecking order in terms of the centre-back spots.

The Frenchman has been linked with a switch to Sevilla as part of the Kounde deal, but according to Sky Sports News, Zouma is currently settled in London.

The report claims that West Ham are in talks with Chelsea over the possibility of a £20m deal for the defender, who is interested in a move to the London Stadium.

Crystal Palace have also been linked with the former Saint-Etienne youngster, although the Eagles have already signed two centre-backs this summer in the shape of Marc Guehi and Joachim Andersen. body check tags ::
