West Ham United have reportedly renewed their interest in signing Brazil international Bernard.
The Hammers have already made a number of high-profile signings during the summer window, but Manuel Pellegrini has previously insisted that he may be ready to add more players to his squad before August 9.
According to The Guardian, there remains a possibility that the Premier League outfit will look to open negotiations with Bernard due to the player being available on a free transfer.
The 25-year-old has recently ended an impressive spell with Shakhtar Donetsk, and it has resulted in interest in the playmaker's signature from both Chelsea and AC Milan.
The report suggests that Bernard's wage demands had previously been an issue for interested clubs, but the 14-cap Brazil attacker may be prepared to accept less money in order to find a new team.
