Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly emerged as 'admirers' of Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud.
The West Midlands outfit are keen to bring in a new striker before the end of the January transfer window, with the club already being linked with moves for Southampton's Charlie Austin, Rubin Kazan's Sardar Azmoun and Tottenham Hotspur's Vincent Janssen.
However, according to journalist Tim Nash, Wolves have began to consider an audacious approach for Giroud, with the Frenchman being out of contract at the end of the season.
Chelsea are unlikely to part ways with the 32-year-old due to the exit of Alvaro Morata, but a cash offer may lead to the Blues reconsidering their stance with Michy Batshuayi also back at the club after a loan spell with Valencia.
Giroud has scored five goals from 11 starts and 15 substitute appearances during the current campaign.
