Chesterfield have eased their League One relegation worries with a vital 1-0 win at home to promotion hopefuls Bournemouth.
Despite being under pressure for large spells, the hosts made the decisive breakthrough on 55 minutes when Liam Ridehalgh fired in to the top corner from 25 yards.
The result has moved John Sheridan's side off the bottom of the table, while Eddie Mitchell's team remain five points from the promotion places.
Chesterfield travel to Carlisle next Saturday, while Bournemouth host Exeter.
