Former Southampton striker Guly do Prado has completed a move to MLS side Chicago Fire.
Do Prado, who finished his four-year stay with Southampton when he was released at the end of last season, is the ninth player to sign a contract with Chicago since the end of the campaign.
"Guly is a versatile, attacking player," Fire head coach Frank Yallop said in a club statement. "I'm pleased to add someone with his experience to strengthen our corps of attack-minded players."
Do Prado made 118 appearances for Southampton, and he was a member of the squad that claimed successive promotions from League One and the Championship, but his chances were limited under Nigel Adkins and Mauricio Pochettino when the club reached the Premier League.
