Chievo have come from behind to earn a 3-1 victory over Empoli in their first Serie A match of the season.
Riccardo Saponara gave the hosts an early lead when he was found just inside the box by Daniele Croce, before guiding a low strike beyond the keeper.
Massimo Maccarone then came within inches of doubling the home side's lead when his powerful strike came crashing back off the post.
They had another chance to score just before the break, but Luca Martinelli saw his header tipped over the bar.
Chievo managed to hold on until the break and 10 minutes into the second half they levelled the scores when Riccardo Meggiorini turned in Valter Birsa's corner.
The visitors then took the lead on the hour mark as Nicola Rigoni was picked out by Perparim Hetemaj, before firing a strike into the bottom corner.
Empoli were left stunned and they fell further behind in the 63rd minute when Alberto Paloschi headed in a deep cross from Meggiorini to secure the points for his side.
