Colchester United manager Joe Dunne has confirmed that West Ham United midfielder George Moncur has been training with the club over the last week.

Dunne said that Moncur, 20, had impressed so far and that the club were looking into the option of bringing him in on loan in the summer transfer window.

"George has done very well, and has integrated well into what we do here and how we're looking to play," Dunne told his club's official website.

"He has been with us all this first week and will continue to train here while we look into the possibilities of a loan move."

Moncur has yet to make a league appearance for West Ham.
