Cordoba have reportedly failed in their attempts to loan Chelsea attacker Uli Davila for another season.
The Mexican scored the decisive goal in Cordoba's 1-1 draw with Las Palmas in the second leg of their Segunda Division playoff last month.
Davila's close-range strike in stoppage time sent Cordoba into La Liga on the away-goals rule and, since that moment, the two clubs have reportedly been locked in negotiations.
However, according to Inside Spanish Football, a new agreement has stalled despite Davila's willingness to re-join the club for another season.
Davila scored seven times for Cordoba last season.
