Crewe Alexandra goalkeeper Steve Phillips has admitted that he is thinking about retiring from football at the end of the season.
The 35-year-old, who joined Crewe from Shrewsbury Town in 2010, has not featured since October due to a shoulder injury.
"I'm out of contract and sort of thinking about next year - do I still continue to play at a professional level?" he told BBC Radio Stoke.
"It might be that I get back and I can be one of the goalies here next year. It might be that I stay and be goalkeeper coach for Steve [Davis] full-time.
"I look forward to the next part of my journey. The last 18 or 20 years has been a rollercoaster and think the next two or three will be a rollercoaster as well."
Phillips has also played for Bristol City and Bristol Rovers.
