Croatia coach Slaven Bilic has revealed that he was "completely satisfied" with his team's 3-1 victory over the Republic of Ireland in Sunday's Euro 2012 Group C encounter.
Mario Mandzukic netted a brace at the Municipal Stadium in Poznan, while Nikica Jelavic was also on the scoresheet for Bilic's side.
"I am completely satisfied with the way we played," he told reporters. "We kept possession and were strong in midfield and we played very well and beat a strong team.
"I was wishing to win this match against Ireland and we are in a better position now.
"We are top of the group and we have three points, probably one victory will be enough to go through to the quarter-finals."
Bilic's men will have the opportunity to get that victory on Thursday when they take on Italy, who drew 1-1 with Spain in their opening match.
