Crystal Palace progress to the semi-finals of the FA Cup after defeating Everton 4-0 in their quarter-final match.

Crystal Palace secured their place in the FA Cup semi-finals today with a comfortable victory over Everton.

The Eagles won the game 4-0, with first-half goals from Marc Guehi and Jean-Philippe Mateta, while Wilfried Zaha and Will Hughes added to the score in the second half.

The victory extended their current undefeated run to six matches in all competitions, while securing a date at Wembley later on this year in a bid to reach the final.

So far in the competition Crystal Palace have beaten Millwall, Hartlepool United and Stoke City, only conceding one goal across those matches, while they have scored 10 times.

It is a stark improvement on their efforts in the FA Cup last season, where they were knocked out in the third round by Wolverhampton Wanderers, but the club have never won the trophy throughout their history.

Chelsea have also put their name in the hat for the next round, while Southampton play Manchester City, and Liverpool face Nottingham Forest in the last quarter-final match. body check tags ::
