Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke will reportedly be on the sidelines for a minimum of six weeks due to a knee injury.
The Belgium international suffered ligament damage during the Eagles' 5-0 defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
There are fears that the 26-year-old, who underwent a scan on Monday, could miss up to two months of action due to the severity of the injury, according to the Daily Mail.
The Eagles have limited options due to second-in-line Connor Wickham also being on the treatment table with an injury, which has led to reports that manager Roy Hodgson is looking at out-of-contract strikers.
Palace are yet to score a Premier League goal after six matches and currently reside at the bottom of the table after failing to pick up a single point.
