Alan Pardew believes that this season has been his most successful as manager.
The Crystal Palace boss, who joined from Newcastle United in January, guided the Eagles to safety having signed when the club were in the relegation zone.
The 53-year-old endured a turbulent end to his reign with Newcastle, but told ESPN that the experience has made him much stronger.
He said: "I think it is my best season as a manager. I say that because I've had two such different challenges over the course of this campaign.
"At Newcastle, I had a team at the bottom of the table with a crowd that was very angry at what had gone on at the club for a period of time. I suspect it will be difficult for me to top this season in the future."
Palace finish their campaign with a home game against Swansea City tomorrow afternoon.
