Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has praised the "youth, ambition and exuberance" of the club's new signings during this summer's transfer window.
The Eagles' additions for the new season include French international Yohan Cabaye, strikers Patrick Bamford and Connor Wickham, and goalkeeper Alex McCarthy.
The boss told Sky Sports News: "With Yohan Cabaye, we can go through the middle now. He can play for any of the top four sides and he has upped the game of the other players.
"Connor Wickham, Patrick Bamford and Alex McCarthy are all potential England players. They are the youth, ambition and exuberance. [Wickham] hasn't been good at Sunderland, now he can improve and it is my job to do that.
"We have a difficult start and if we overcome that we can go better. Europe is where we can get at."
Palace face Championship playoff winners Norwich City at Carrow Road on the first day of the new Premier League season.
