Yannick Bolasie has said that Tony Pulis should be named manager of the season for turning around Crystal Palace's campaign in the Premier League.
The Welshman replaced Ian Holloway in November with the team in the relegation places, but the Eagles now sit 11th in the table and are assured of a place in the top flight next season.
The winger told The Mirror: "He should get manager of the season for the job he has done. It looked like it would be a very long season. But the gaffer has come in and brought a positive mentality.
"He has never been relegated and is going to keep that record. He has used all the players' different strengths well and moulded them.
"We have been on fire lately. We are going into every game feeling confident on the back of beating Chelsea and Everton and the teams around us. Everyone in the squad deserves credit, too, as we have been united. With the gaffer now, it seems a different changing room."
