Former Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay is reportedly interested in taking over as manager of Crystal Palace.
The Eagles will head into the new season with Keith Millen in temporary charge of the club after Tony Pulis left by mutual consent on Thursday.
According to BBC Sport, Palace could make an approach for Mackay in the next week, as he has a strong relationship with the club's current chairman Steve Parish and has also worked with their sporting direction Iain Moody.
Palace begin their season with an away clash against Arsenal at the Emirates on Saturday evening.
