Crystal Palace interim manager Keith Millen has admitted that he is "surprised" by how long the club are taking to find a new boss.
The 47-year-old is expecting Ian Holloway's permanent successor to be appointed before the end of the international break, but the Premier League outfit are yet to secure a new boss.
"I am a little surprised, but I am pleased in that it is a reflection of how I am doing that the chairman is fully confident that he can leave it in my hands," the Croydon Advertiser quotes him as saying. "We need to be planning for the next three or four games, which are big for us."
Palace are currently at the bottom of the Premier League table.
