Frank de Boer has reportedly been offered the managerial position at Crystal Palace.
Since the resignation of Sam Allardyce, Palace chairman Steve Parish has taken his time while assessing potential replacements for the former England chief, but it now appears that a final decision has been made.
According to The Mirror, Parish has opted to give De Boer the opportunity to sign a deal at Selhurst Park.
The Dutchman has been out of work since a 14-game spell with Inter Milan, but he made his name at Ajax where he won four successive Eredivisie titles between 2010 and 2013.
De Boer has also been associated with the position at Southampton, but Palace have seemingly made their move to secure his services for the next Premier League campaign.
Burnley's Sean Dyche and former Liverpool assistant Mauricio Pellegrino had also been linked with the role.
