Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann has revealed that he was elated to score the winner for his side against his hometown club Liverpool.
The Eagles stunned the Reds by recording a 2-1 victory at Anfield as Dann netted in the 82nd minute to hand Alan Pardew's men the three points after Philippe Coutinho had cancelled out Yannick Bolasie's opener.
The 28-year-old has admitted that it was a dream to score at Anfield, and has insisted that he had no qualms about condemning the side he supported as a boy to defeat.
Dann told the club's official website: "I had a feeling today that I was going to score today and thankfully it was the winner. It was a good ball in by Yohan and I just wanted to get on the end of one and thankfully for me it went in.
"It's nice to get the win; we did it here last year so we knew we were capable of doing it again and it was a great performance again by all of the lads.
"I have always dreamed of scoring here so it's a nice touch. I'll probably get a bit of stick from my family and friends but they support me as well so I'm sure they won't mind too much."
Palace are eighth in the Premier League following their win.
